Dependability

Dependability is comparable to the concept of reliability in quantitative research. This criterion focuses on the transparency and consistency of your methods. It’s defined as the extent to which your study could be replicated in similar conditions. 

To determine the dependability of your study, these types of data quality checks can be implemented:

Inquiry Audit:  Involves having an external researcher evaluate the data collection and analysis process as well as research findings. All interpretations are examined to identify if your data supports them.
